Anitha Parthiban Educational and Charitable trust has been organizing Shuttle Badminton tournaments since 2012. The prime motivation of this tournament was my wife who passed away due to a fatal road accident on 24-02-2011. Her sudden demise created a lacunae in my life. My wife was a great lover of sports and games though she was an able homemaker. Her dreams were always towards the upliftment of the needy and deserving people in the society. As a means of fulfilling her dreams the Shuttle badminton tournament is being organized since 2012. Ever since the inception of the tournament we have been witnessing a tremendous growing response which paved way for us gaining a national wide recognition. Since 2012 we have been conducting tournaments. Various dignitaries former DGP Shri. W.I.Dewaram IPS and the Coastal Security Guard Inspector General Shri. Sokkalingam I.P.S. Coastal Security Guard Asst. Director General of Police Dr.Shri. C. Sailendra Babu I.P.S. and Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, Tamilnadu Badminton Association and Treasurer Badminton Association of India, has been the Chief Guests of Honor for the Tournaments.
